E-healthweek becomes Smart Care Relay

After four years, the e-health week is getting a new name and interpretation: the Smart Care Relay.
Not just one week, but the entire month of February will be dedicated to smart care and innovation. The Smart Care Relay is an initiative of the Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport.

CloudCuddle organizes three meetings
During the Smart Care Relay, CloudCuddle organizes three events during which healthcare professionals and parents can become better acquainted with our mobile bed tent:
Region West (Friday 12 February), Region North (Friday 19 February) and Region South (Friday 26 February).

Program
Everyone is welcome to stop by. We offer two program parts all days.

Morning:
central presentation in the presence of parents.

Afternoon:
possibility of private appointment.

The Smart Care Relay is divided into four regions. Each week, smart care is the focus of one region, after which the baton is passed on to the next region. In this way, organizations in different regions can learn from each other. And everyone can gain experience with smart care and innovation for health and welfare.

  • Region east (Gelderland, Overijssel, Flevoland): 1-5 February 2021
  • Region west (North Holland, South Holland, Utrecht):February 8-12, 2021
  • Region north (Groningen, Friesland, Drenthe):15-19 February 2021
  • Region south (Zeeland, Noord-Brabant, Limburg): 22-26 February 2021

Role of VWS
To be able to contribute to everyone’s health and well-being, we must continue to innovate and tackle the common challenges in care and well-being together. Smart care is one of the ways to do this. For example, it can support you in maintaining your health or help improve it. In addition, smart care makes a direct contribution to the right care in the right place. And it offers opportunities for professionals to organize their work differently and more pleasantly.

With the Smart Care Relay, the Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport therefore wants to draw attention to innovation and smart care. VWS has asked event agency Obsession to organize the Smart Care Relay, in cooperation with the Ministry and regional parties. From the ministry there are three programs and one directorate involved; programs De Juiste Zorg op de Juiste Plek, Werken in de zorg en Zorg van Nu and directorate Innovation and Care Renewal.

Region Partners
In every region there are specific challenges in healthcare. In order to respond to the regional challenges, we work together with a partner from the region. Together we give substance to the four regional meetings. The regional partners also play a role in the national closing ceremony on Thursday, March 4, 2021.
